CONNECTING THE WORLD TO DANCE
The Dance Connection strives to motivate and empower young athletes to elevate their dance experience by connecting and creating future dance opportunities through training, resources and knowledge. We have lined up a great teaching faculty for our 2024-2025 Conventions. We are excited to be a part of your dance education journey.
Dance Convention
Convention workshop classes taught by top industry professionals in all styles: Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Game Performance
Audition & Improv Competition
Dance Connection dancers have the opportunity to participate in the audition process and improv competition. Select dancers will win scholarships and awards. This experience helps to prepare dancers for a future in the industry: College, Pro, Broadway, Vegas, etc.
No Stay to Play
The Dance Connection doesn't require you to stay at the host hotel(s) in order to participate. You are free to stay anywhere!
Nationals Bids
Each Dance Connection event will award Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum bids to Stage 8 Dance Nationals May 2 - 4, 2025 at the Hilton Orlando in Orlando, FL.
Solos, Duets, & Trios
We welcome any and all solos, duets and trios for Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, Senior and Open performances. See the Rules/Scoring tab for age divisions, performance levels and judging criteria.

Top Dance Judges
Our judges are highly qualified and incredibly experienced in the Dance industry. Each one is hand-picked and extensively trained on Stage 8’s score sheet. At our events, your teams will receive the best feedback in the industry, including real-time video critique!
Dance Only
The Dance Connection hosts DANCE ONLY events that consist of the most highly competitive dance programs and schools across the country. We pride ourselves on having our focus on dance only and want to provide a memorable experience for all coaches, dancers and spectators!
Celebrate Dancers
On & Off the Floor
Each competition will celebrate the dancers good grades with Stage 8 Dance Brands gifts! Be sure to bring those report cards and we will show our support to your dancers who work hard on and off the dance floor!
